Theory Tuition
Many people see the practical element of learning to drive as daunting, assuming
the Theory Test will be simple. But this is not the case, because the Theory Test
is designed not to evaluate your memory but rather your ability to understand and
reason with the dangers and meanings of particular driving situations.
There are many books and DVDs which offer guidance and assistance with the Theory
Test, and many of them can be useful. The difficulty with them is that they are
objective and conform to the 'memorise the information' idea. That said their
intrinsic value is not be undermined, and can be vital tools in assiting you
in coming to grips with different road signs and hazard perception.
